1. Lemon Chicken

Have some lemon chicken at home with some amazing ingredients which are available at home. You have a melt in your mouth with this chicken recipe which has a tangy kick. Lemon chicken cooked with citrus juices, sugarcane juice and amazing essential Indian spices.

Ingredients You Need:

  • You need 3-4 tbsp refined oil
  • You need 2 tsp cumin seeds
  • You need 2 onions, julienne
  • You need 6 garlic cloves, chopped
  • You need 1/2 inch ginger, chopped
  • You need 3-4 Green chillies
  • You need 3/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • You need 1 tsp coriander powder
  • Add to taste salt
  • You need 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • You need 1/2 cup orange juice
  • You need 1/4 tsp fresh sugarcane juice
  • You need garnishing fresh coriander

How To Make?

  • Heat a big cooking vessel on a high heat and once its hot, add the refined oil and roll the pan to cover the base equally. Once the oil is nice and warm, add the cumin seeds and saute them until crackling and aromatic.
  • Now combine the onions, garlic and ginger and sauté them lightly until they take on a slight golden brown colour. Turn up the heat and then mix the spice powders.
  • Cook the spices on high heat until they are very aromatic and well toasted. Then add a little water and Bruno the base elements frequently until the oil rises to the head and the masala is well prepared out.
  • Add some salt and blend well, then combine the chicken thighs to the pan. Set up the heat and fry the chicken in the masala till it is usually covered with the essence of the rest and is a very light yellowy golden brown.

2. Galouti Kabab

We all love kebabs and when it comes to Galouti Kabab then you the taste has already developed in our mouths. So, now do not waste your time and start making kebabs at home when your friends come.

Ingredients You Need:

  • You need 1/2 Kg mutton mince (for soft kebabs use mutton that has been double minced)
  • You need 4 tsp green papaya paste
  • You need 1 tsp garlic (minced)
  • You need 1 tsp ginger
  • You need 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • You need a pinch of javitri powder
  • You need a pinch of Kashmiri Mirch
  • You need 2 tsp chana powder, roasted
  • You need 2 tbsp saffron mixed in warm milk
  • You need 1 tbsp ghee
  • You need 2 tsp onion paste, fried
  • It would help if you tasted salt
  • You need 1 tsp Gulab Jal
  • You need 1/3 tsp kebab chini, powdered
  • You need 1/3 tsp green cardamom
  • You need 1 tbsp olive oil (for frying the kebabs)

How To Make?

  • Use a teaspoon of minced garlic and 1 spoon of ginger, mix really well for 25-30 minutes (benefits the kebabs to become soft) and add 1/2 teaspoon garam masala.
  • Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.
  • Put 3 parts of coal on the gas, add a bit of ghee, cloves and green cardamom, put this in a Katori and place it amid the galouti masala, covered with aluminium.
  • After 2 hours, you are good to go.
  • Get a frying vessel. Put 1 tablespoon of olive oil or ghee and stir-fry the kebabs.
  • Serve hot.

3. Lakhnavi Dum Aloo

Aloo is every Indian favourite. A meal without aloo is incomplete, so here we present you the tasty Lakhnavi Dum Aloo recipes which you can easily cook at home and have it with naan or roti.

Ingredients You Need:

  • You need 1/2 Kg of Potatoes
  • You need 100-gram Potatoes, mashed
  • You need 100 gram Crumbled paneer
  • You need 1 tsp Red chilli powder and salt
  • You need 1 tsp Garam masala
  • You need 1 1/2 tsp Kasoori methi
  • You need 3 tbsp Ghee
  • You need 1 tbsp Butter
  • You need 1 tbsp Cream

For the onion gravy:

  • You need 200 gram Onions
  • You need 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • You need to taste salt
  • You need 1 tsp Ghee

For the tomato gravy:

  • You need 200-gram Fresh tomato puree
  • You need to taste salt
  • You need 1 tsp Ghee

How To Make?

Make onion gravy:

  • Melt some ghee in a pan and saute all the ingredients. The onions should be fine and bright. Keep aside.

Make tomato gravy:

  • In another vessel, melt some ghee and cook all the ingredients for some of the minutes. Keep aside.

Cook the potatoes:

  • Cut out the cores of the potatoes and deep fry the potatoes.
  • While the potatoes cool down to make the sauce, mix the crushed potatoes and paneer collectively. This is the mixture.
  • Fill the fried potatoes with the mixture and keep aside.

Prepare the final mixture:

  • Cook the onion and tomato sauces in oil until the oil departs.
  • Combine all the garam masala, chilli powder and kasoori methi. Mix. Cook for 1 minute.
  • Mix in the butter and the cream. Mix well.
  • Lastly, combine the potatoes and cook for about 3-5 minutes.

4. Dal Makhani

A dinner without a dal makhani is like Biryani without chicken and making yummy Dal Makhni at home is super easy. You can make Dal Makhni any time with the ingredients mentioned below which are easily available at your home.

  • You need 2 Cups Sabut urad dal

  • You need 1 tsp Kasoori methi
  • You need 2 cups Tomato puree

  • You need garnishing Green chillies (slit lengthwise)

How To Make?

  • To the dal, combine water, 1 Tbsp salt and ginger. Cook till dal converts tender.
  • In a heavy-based vessel, heat butter and oil. Mix shahi jeera and kasoori methi. When they start to splutter, combine tomato puree, remaining salt, chilli powder and sugar.
  • Stir-fry over a high flame, till the oil leaves.
  • Combine boiled dal and return to boil. The proportion should be such that the dal should move around quickly when stirred, otherwise add little water.
  • Move to simmer, opened, till well combined. Stir-in cream and once it gets cooked through, serve quickly, decorated with green chillies.

5. Butter Chicken

Butter Chicken! The name only can make you want to have this ever-so-popular Indian dish. Butter chicken remains to be a hit among Indians and newcomers alike, particularly those who want a taste of authentic Indian food.

There are many stories of how this recipe was created, and most archaeologists agree that the iconic Butter Chicken was made in the galleys of Moti Mahal. This recipe of Butter Chicken is easy to understand and makes for a moment conversation-starter!

Ingredients You Need:

  • 400 gms raw chicken

For the Marinade:

  • You need 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • You need 2 tsp ginger and garlic paste
  • You need 2 tsp salt
  • You need 2 tsp lemon juice
  • You need 1/2 cup curd
  • You need 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • You need 1 tsp Kasuri methi
  • You need 2 tsp mustard oil

For gravy:

  • You need 2 tsp oil
  • You need 2 to taste butter cubes
  • You need 3-gram cloves
  • You need 1 Cinnamon sticks, sliced
  • You need 1 tsp mace
  • You need 7 Cardamom
  • You need 4 Tomatoes, chopped
  • You need 1 tsp garlic
  • You need 1 tsp ginger
  • You need 2 butter cubes
  • You need 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • You need 1 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • It would help if you had 1 tsp Kasuri methi
  • You need 2 tsp honey
  • You need 1 green chilli
  • You need 2 tsp cardamom powder
  • You need 1 tbsp cream

How To Make?

For marination:

  • In a mixing pot, place raw chicken pieces and combine salt, red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste and lemon juice. Mix well.
  • Chill for about 15-20 minutes.
  • Now combine curd to the refrigerated mix. Accompanied by salt, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, garam masala, Kasuri methi and mustard oil. Stir well and chill again for an hour.
  • Roast the marinated chicken in an oven for about 30 minutes until it is three-fourth prepared.

Prepare the chicken gravy:

  • Heat 2 tsp of oil in a container with butter.
  • Combine cloves, cinnamon sticks, mace and cardamom. Saute and then combine diced tomatoes, garlic and ginger. Blend well and then grind well.
  • In a different pan, heat another two cubes of butter, along with ginger garlic paste.
  • Add the tomato puree got from the mixture. Immediately add red chilli powder, Kasuri methi, honey and finally the cooked chicken parts. Let it cook.
  • Add green chilli, cardamom powder and cream. Stir well.
  • Serve with a spoon of cream over.
